Bearing tightening sleeve: What is the difference between tightening sleeve and dismounting sleeve

The original intention of the tightening and dismounting sleeves is to facilitate the installation and disassembly of bearings, improve efficiency, and reduce the maintenance cost of machinery. In general, it means using a fastening sleeve for ease of installation, and using a detachable sleeve for ease of disassembly. The use of both the release sleeve and the locking sleeve can achieve the effect of adjusting the internal clearance.

The locking sleeve is convenient for adjusting the axial positioning of the bearing, and has good self-locking performance. The use of an optical shaft avoids the stress concentration phenomenon existing in the stepped shaft, which is beneficial for use in situations with heavy load transmission or impact vibration.

Although the structure of this type of bearing device is simple, it can only achieve satisfactory results under the premise of correct installation and maintenance. Otherwise, it will be too late and even counterproductive.
