Here is a tip: reduce the load of ball bearings by half, extend their service life by 8 times, and extend the service life of roller bearings by 10 times.

2. Heavy-duty bearing seat clearance and life

Due to the internal heat generated by the bearing and the heat released around the bearing, the temperature of the inner ring is higher than that of the outer ring during the operation of ordinary rolling bearings, resulting in a decrease in internal clearance. At this point, it is necessary to consider the clearance and bearing life. Due to the difficulty in knowing the temperature difference during operation, positive clearance is usually used for safety reasons.

3. Bearing seat tilt and life

The tilt here refers to the shaft tilt caused by the misalignment or non adjustment of the parallelism at both ends of the shaft during installation. The uneven distribution of the force applied to the bearing results in a reduction in the bearing life. The greater the inclination, the greater the reduction, and the shorter the application time. Of course, except for self-aligning bearings, there is no such problem.

4. Bearing seat data purity and service life

In addition to retirement conditions, the failure of bearing components is mainly limited by the hardness, strength, toughness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and internal stress state of steel. The main internal factors affecting these properties and states are: ① martensite in hardened steel; ② Residual austenite in quenched steel; ③ Insoluble carbides in quenched steel; ④ Residual stress after quenching and tempering; ⑤ The impurity content of the steel. When smooth conditions are good, it is usually the internal starting point for peeling.
