1. Storage room requirements

(1) Clean and dry

(2) Prevent air flow.

(3) If the relative temperature of the storage room is greater than 75%, it is recommended to provide air conditioning.

(4) Prevent vibration

(5) Maintain a constant temperature (temperature change no greater than 3 ℃ for 48 hours)

(6) Before leaving the factory, bearings are coated with anti rust oil. Too low or too high temperature can cause the anti rust oil to deteriorate, and the room temperature is controlled at 0-25 ℃.

(7) Regular inspection: According to the regulations on rust prevention of bearing products, conduct regular inspection every 10-12 months. If rust is found on the oil seal packaging, it should be repackaged.

2. Temperature and humidity

(1) As long as the relative humidity of the warehouse does not exceed 60% and the temperature changes little, the bearings can be stored in the original packaging for a long time.

In clean air with a relative humidity of less than 50%, the exposed clean surface will not rust and corrode.

As humidity increases, the likelihood of corrosion also increases, especially when the relative humidity of the air is greater than 75%.

(2) Long term storage of bearings with sealing rings or dust caps may affect the characteristics of bearing grease.

3. Storage of large bearings

The correct storage method for large bearings can only be placed horizontally, that is, the bearings should be placed horizontally, and the entire side of the bearing ring should be supported.

If the bearing is placed in a vertical position, the weight of the bearing ring and rolling element may cause deformation of the bearing due to the relatively small thickness of the bearing ring.

Scientific storage of bearings is very important. If improper storage results in bearing rust or corrosion, it is considered defective. Even without surface damage, bearings can fail during operation, so bearing storage must be taken seriously.
