Both single motor bearings and multiple bearings of the unit should be installed on the main longitudinal axis of the connected machine or on the longitudinal axis of the unit. The bearing center is measured by hanging a steel wire and a plumb bob. (Insert a wooden strip into the circular arc of the bearing, nail a thin iron strip in the center of the wooden strip, and mark the center position.).
To adjust the position of the shaft in the seat, start with the bearing seat on the extreme side and check the levelness of these planes by placing a level gauge on the bearing seat surface. Use a theodolite or level to check whether the planes of several shaft seats are in the same horizontal plane, and use methods such as a plumb bob to align the centers of each bearing on the same axis, as shown in Figure 1-5.
Adjust the bearing pedestal according to the above method. During the process of eliminating the deviation, use jack type tools to move the bearing pedestal. Do not use the method of impact or hammering. The accuracy error of adjusting the bearing pedestal using this method is about 0.5~1.0mm. It should be pointed out that the installation and adjustment of the bearing pedestal is only a pre adjustment, and during centering, it is necessary to adjust it to meet the requirement of consistent shaft centerline. After the bearing pedestal is pre adjusted, only tighten the screws evenly (tighten in diagonal cycles), while the insulating sleeve and stabilizing screw can be temporarily left unused until the final centering work is completed or before commissioning.
