How to correctly install a partial bearing seat with oil seal?


1. Ensure cleanliness of the work area. Check the size and shape of the bearing locations. The shaft should be machined to the required tolerances for easy assembly of the fastening sleeve and installed with a chamfer of approximately 3mm x 15 degrees.


2. Check the roughness of the bearing seat surface. Whether the three-dimensional (flatness) public service meets the required level. Ensure that the assembly details are clean. If the assembly details are painted, the paint must be removed. If operating the gasket, all details must cover the gasket, and the assembly overview assumptions must be able to be based on the actual load, cloud, and fit for assembly.


3. Assemble all components located between the two bearing blocks on the shaft. If the bearing is installed on the locking sleeve, its position relative to the bearing seat should be judged.


4. Ensure that the connection details of the bearing pedestal have been cleaned of paint and contaminants. Place the bearing pedestal on the bearing pedestal surface. Install the connecting bolts, but do not tighten them.


5. Assemble the seal. Check whether the O-ring and hollow O-ring differentiation rubber belt are inserted into the groove respectively.


The bearing fastening sleeve manufacturer should apply a thin layer of oil to the shaft. Install the seal in the correct position. Install the shaft on the shaft - directly onto the road shaft or operate the fastening sleeve.


Follow the instructions in point 6 to push the second seal into the correct position on the shaft (if using a stepped shaft, install the distance ring first). If the bearing block is used for the shaft end, omit the second seal and insert the inside of the end cap into the seal groove of the bearing block.


8. Install the second bearing and bearing seat as described in 3-7 above.

10. Carefully align the bearing pedestal base. Then, fasten the connecting bolts on the two bearing blocks.


11. The dividing surface of the bearing block should be coated with a layer of silicone resin or similar oil resistant sealing paste along the external condition line and around the hole. Then place the upper covers of the two bearing blocks on their respective bases, and tighten the upper cover bolts (connecting the upper cover and the base) according to the torque specified in Table 1. The upper cover and base of one bearing seat cannot be exchanged with the upper cover and base of other bearing seats. Check whether the upper cover and base of each bearing seat are accurate.


12. Search the alignment of the two bearing blocks, conditionally add misalignment, and fully tighten the connecting bolts on the bases of the two bearing blocks. The recommended tightening torque is shown in.


13. Install the seal on the side of the bearing pedestal and fully tighten the screws on the outside of the end cover. Install and tighten the seal assembly screws. If an end cap is installed.


14. When operating oil bath lubrication, install an oil level observation window. When operating circulating oil lubrication, connect the oil inlet and outlet pipes to the bearing block. Note: All threads with accessories must be coated with the same sealant.)


15. When operating oil bath lubrication, access the window guide and the amount of oil. For installed bearings. When the equipment is not running, the oil level must be checked. Recommended oil level.


16. Important reminder: Do not exceed the oil level during oil bath lubrication, otherwise it may cause oil leakage in the bearing seat. For circulating oil lubrication, the main oil outlet pipe can normally overhead the oil in the bearing block to prevent excessive oil in the bearing block.


17. The oval bearing seat assembly shall be exempt from negative pressure exerted by four equipment.



18. Check the day after tightening the upper cover and connecting bolts to maintain the correct torque.
