What is the difference between a bearing retainer sleeve and a release sleeve?

The original intention of the bearing fastening sleeve and disassembly sleeve is to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the bearing, improve efficiency, and reduce mechanical maintenance costs. Generally speaking, the bearing retainer sleeve is used for convenient installation and the disassembly sleeve is used for convenient disassembly. The use of a disassembly sleeve and a bearing retainer sleeve can achieve the effect of adjusting internal clearance.

The bearing locking sleeve is convenient for adjusting the axial positioning of the bearing and has good locking performance. The application of the optical shaft prevents the stress condition of the stepped shaft, which is beneficial for light load transmission or shock vibration applications. Although the structure of this bearing device is very simple, satisfactory results can only be achieved under appropriate installation and maintenance conditions. Installation steps

1. Grease the inner diameter, diameter, thread, and large end of the bearing tightening sleeve, sleeve retraction sleeve.

2. The bearing retainer sleeve or disassembly sleeve is integrally assembled with the bearing, and is basically clamped with a locknut or hydraulic nut. At the same time, a hand pump is used to introduce high-pressure oil into the port (one oil hole for the bearing retainer sleeve and two oil holes for the disassembly sleeve).

3. The bearing clearance should be adjusted using a jam nut. After adjusting the side clearance, immediately clamp or use hydraulic nuts to assemble the bearings. Adjust the side clearance, remove the hydraulic nut, and then tighten it with a jam nut.

Disassembly and assembly process

1. When loading and unloading the bearing set sleeve and disassembly sleeve, coat the screws in the bearing set sleeve and disassembly sleeve with grease. Remove the nut and apply grease to the bearing contact port.

2. Introduce high-pressure oil into the oil hole of the hand pump bearing retainer sleeve or disassembly sleeve port. Under the action of high-pressure oil, rotate the disassembly nut or hydraulic nut for pressurization, and disassemble the bearing set sleeve and disassembly sleeve (when disassembling the bearing set sleeve, the shaft end must have a screw assembly nut as a support point)

To disassemble and disassemble bearings, it is not only necessary to use a bearing remover, but also necessary to pay attention to some positions where the bearings are disassembled for ease of disassembly. If you do not pay attention to these parts, you may also damage the bearings. The following are precautions for disassembling and loading/unloading bearings: When disassembling and loading/unloading bearings, it is necessary to tighten the radial locking equipment: lock nuts, end caps, etc.

When disassembling small and medium-sized bearings, use a lock nut, hook wrench, or impact wrench to loosen the bearings. The best way to remove large bearings is to use hydraulic nuts. If the screw portion of the shaft sleeve protrudes from the shaft end or shoulder, it is necessary to insert a support ring into the sleeve hole. The wall of the support ring should be as thick as possible to prevent deformation and damage of the screw when using hydraulic pressure. Add a barrier to the hydraulic nut end, such as against the shaft end. If the disassembly sleeve suddenly separates from the shaft seat, a barrier can be used to avoid complete disassembly of the disassembly sleeve and hydraulic nut from the shaft.
