Special attention should be paid to the following points during the use of the bearing pedestal


(1) Use of the bearing pedestal cooling system. When used correctly, the cooling water for the bearing block not only extends the life of the bearing block, but also improves production efficiency. The material of the bearing block is generally made of special bearing block steel through various treatments. Better bearing block steel also has temperature and other usage limits. When the bearing block is in use and the mold temperature is too high, the mold surface is prone to early cracks. Some bearing blocks that have not yet exceeded 2000 mold cracks will appear in large areas. Even if the temperature of the bearing seat during production is too high, and the mold core changes color, which reaches 400 degrees or more after measurement, this temperature is prone to cracking under the condition that the release agent is too cold, and the produced product is also prone to deformation, strain, and mold adhesion. Using cooling water for the bearing block can significantly reduce the use of mold release agents, and operators do not use mold release agents to reduce the temperature of the bearing block. Its advantages are effectively extending the life of the bearing seat, saving the die casting cycle, improving product quality, reducing the occurrence of mold adhesion and strain aluminum adhesion, and reducing the use of mold release agents. It can also reduce the loss of the ejector pin and core caused by overheating of the bearing pedestal temperature.

(2) During the production process of the bearing pedestal, it is necessary to preheat the bearing pedestal to prevent the cold bearing pedestal from suddenly encountering hot metal liquid and causing cracks. Complex bearing pedestals can be preheated using a blowtorch, liquefied gas, and a mold warmer with good conditions. Simple bearing pedestals can be preheated using slow pressure.


(3) Cleaning the parting surface of the bearing block is troublesome and easy to ignore. The operator uses kerosene to clean the parting surface of the bearing block, not only to prevent the bearing block from being squeezed, but also to clean the mold release agent residues and other dirt clogged exhaust grooves of the bearing block, which helps to improve the quality of the gas discharged from the mold cavity during the injection process.


(4) When the bearing pedestal is equipped with neutron control, please note that it is prohibited to have a joint in the signal wire between the die casting machine and the bearing pedestal. The reason is clear. In daily production, the signal wire will not be contaminated with water, and the area covered by the joint is prone to damage, short circuiting with the machine tool, causing unnecessary losses due to signal errors. Pay attention to waterproofing of the travel switch.
