How to correctly select the bearing adapter sleeve
According to the rotational state of the load acting on the bearing fastening sleeve relative to the collar, there are three types of loads borne by the fastening collar: partial load, cyclic system load, and shaking load. Common cyclic system loads (rotating loads) and shaking loads are selected in close coordination; In addition to the special requirements for using straps for partial loads, it is generally not suitable for selecting a tight fit.
When the fastening collar is under heavy load, a transition fit should be selected on both inner and outer sides, but sometimes the outer side can be slightly loosened, and radial swing should also be carried out in the fastening collar hole; When the fastening collar is subjected to a shaking load and the load is relatively light, a slightly looser mutual fit than a tight mutual fit can be selected.
The clearance fit amount between the fastening collar and the shaft or cover hole depends on the size of the load. When the load is too heavy, choose a larger clearance fit amount; When the load is lighter, choose a smaller clearance fit. Generally, the axial load P is lower than 0. 07C is a light load, and P exceeds 0. 07C is equal to or lower than 0. 15C refers to all normal loads, with P exceeding 0. 15C is the main load (C is the rated load of the fastening sleeve).
When the fastening sleeve is in operation, the temperature of the sleeve is often higher than the temperature of adjacent components. Therefore, the inner ring of the fastening sleeve may become loose from the shaft due to thermal deformation, and the outer side may endanger the radial swing of the fastening sleeve on the housing hole wall due to thermal deformation. When helping to select a mutual fit, consideration should be given to the decrease in temperature difference and expansion/contraction of the fastener sleeve equipment. When the temperature difference is large, the mutual fit clearance between the shaft and the inner ring should be selected with a large fit amount.
When the fastener sleeve has a high rotational accuracy requirement, in order to eliminate ductile deformation and vibration hazards, transitional fits should be prevented. When fitting the outer side of the fastening sleeve with the outer side of the casing hole, it is not advisable to choose a transitional fit or rotate the outer side on the casing hole wall.
For fasteners installed on thick wall casing holes, light metal casing holes, or hollow shafts, a tighter fit than a thin wall casing hole, pig iron casing hole, or solid shaft should be selected. For heavy mechanical equipment, the fastening sleeve should be loosely fitted. When a tight fit must be selected, separate fastening sleeves, inner rings with tapered holes and fastening sleeves, or withdrawal sleeves can be used.
In mutual fit, when the ferrule of the specified fastening sleeve can swing radially during operation, the outer side of the fastening sleeve and the cover hole of the fastening sleeve should be selected for loose mutual fit.
