Due to the fact that a bearing can choose different bearing blocks, while a bearing block can also choose non-standard bearings, there are many varieties of bearing blocks. Bearing blocks are included in Quick Easy Plus, and many large overseas bearing companies also have their own bearing block catalogs. However, different bearing seat models have different marks in different company samples. For different operating locations with standard bearing pedestals, the water cooled bearing manufacturer may decide on bearing pedestals that do not meet the requirements, such as gray cast iron, ductile iron, and unusual bearing pedestals made of cast steel, stainless steel, and plastic.


Both single motor bearings and multiple bearings of the unit should be installed on the main longitudinal axis of the connected machine or on the longitudinal axis of the unit. The middle of the measuring bearing is checked using a hanging steel wire and a plumb bob. A wooden strip is stuck in the circular arc of the bearing, and a thin iron strip is nailed to the center of the wooden strip, marking the central position of the flag.


The manufacturer of split bearing seats adjusts the position of the shaft in the seat, starting with the bearing seat on the extreme side, and using a level gauge to place it on the bearing seat surface to search for the levelness of these three dimensions. Use a theodolite or level to search whether the three dimensions of several shaft seats are in the same horizontal plane, and use a plumb bob or other methods to align the centers of each bearing on the same axis.

Perform the adjustment task of the bearing block according to the above pattern. During the process of eliminating errors, operate a jack type tool to move the bearing block, and do not use the method of impact or hammer. The accuracy error of adjusting the bearing pedestal using this method is within about 0.5~1.0mm. It should be pointed out that the assembly and adjustment of the bearing pedestal is only a pre adjustment, and it is necessary to adjust it to meet the requirement of consistent shaft center line during safety. After the bearing seat is pre adjusted, only tighten the screws evenly (tighten in diagonal cycles), while the insulating sleeve and stabilizing screw can be temporarily left unused until the final completion of the reassuring mission or before commissioning.


Generally, there are only four steps:


1. Surface treatment: the surface of the bearing seat will need to be repaired to remove oil and moisture;


2. Reconcile repair data;


3. Application data. Robust filling; Apply the material evenly to the repaired part of the bearing seat,


4. Wait for the material to solidify, and properly heat the material details to accelerate the material solidification.


General bearing chamber wear can be repaired within 3-6 hours. The operation is simple and easy to learn, requiring no special equipment and specialized training. Compared to laser welding, cold welding, and other technologies, it saves time and effort, and the cost is only 1/5-1/10 of the general repair cost. On-site repair also reduces equipment maintenance time and transportation costs.
