However, due to the complex processing process and many processes involved in the bearing, when the production cycle is individually one month or more, and when the bearing is exposed to various unsuitable production environments in the atmosphere, it is easy to rust. Bearing penetration connecting frames, square dust covers, and other materials are made of low-carbon steel, and their rust resistance is far lower than that of chromium bearing steel, making them more prone to corrosion. Therefore, manufacturers of split bearing pedestals should always pay attention to rust prevention during the production process. The causes of corrosion of bearing parts are as follows:


1. Impact of production process


During the production process, work-in-process products often receive strong corrosive substances such as acids and alkalis, which can rust due to improper treatment. For example, during grinding, acid washing is used to search for burns during grinding of parts. After acid washing, the residual acid that corrodes parts that are not well treated can cause corrosion; During the grinding process, when electromagnetic fixtures are manipulated, demagnetized unclean dust is adsorbed on the details of the parts, causing difficulties in cleaning and also causing corrosion;


Some parts lack marks, and acid corrosion method is used to supplement words or identify bearing accuracy level, etc., resulting in corrosion due to poor neutralization treatment.

2. Impact of lax implementation of rust prevention regulations


(1) The coolant used during the grinding process was not replaced on schedule, resulting in latent rust on the parts affected by the deteriorated coolant, which was not exposed until assembly time;


(2) The inventory parts were not treated strictly according to regulations for rust prevention, or the preparation of rust prevention liquid did not meet the standards;


(3) Bearing parts rust due to not wearing anti rust gloves and irregular washing of hands to remove sweat.


3. Impact of external environment: The external environment is an objective condition that affects the corrosion of bearing parts.


(1) Bearing parts storage warehouse: The warehouse floor is not provided with construction treatment for moistureproof layer, parts are stacked too densely in the warehouse, poor ventilation conditions, and other color noises;


(2) The surrounding environment of the factory is poor: there is a large amount of smoke or dust falling and flying into the warehouse. When dust is adhered to the surface of the parts, due to the moisture absorption of the dust, corrosive media are formed and corrosion points are generated;


(3) The temperature in the warehouse varies greatly: in winter, there is no or insufficient heating in the warehouse, the temperature is low, and the daily temperature difference in the warehouse is large. Bearing parts are stored in a lower temperature warehouse from the production workshop, causing condensation on the surface to promote rust;


(4) There is no changing room in the assembly room and parts warehouse, there is no strict shoe changing system, and the cleanliness in the warehouse cannot be maintained. In particular, arbitrary eating and drinking in the warehouse have damaged the environment of the assembly room and warehouse。
