Where there is a bearing, there must be a support point. The inner support point of the bearing is the shaft, and the outer support is commonly referred to as the bearing seat. Because a bearing can choose different bearing blocks, while a bearing block can also choose different types of bearings, there are many varieties of bearing blocks. Many large foreign bearing companies also have their own bearing pedestal catalogs. However, the same bearing seat model does not have the same markings in different company samples. For different applications of standard bearing blocks, different materials of bearing blocks can be selected, such as gray cast iron, ductile iron, and special bearing blocks made of cast steel, stainless steel, and plastic.
According to the different requirements of bearings and bearing blocks, the classification of bearing blocks is also not entirely the same. Bearing blocks are divided into: split bearing blocks, sliding bearing blocks, rolling bearing blocks, flanged bearing blocks, outer spherical bearing blocks, etc. When using, carefully check the selection based on the design.
Classification according to the shape of the bearing seat:
1、The outer spherical bearing seat is divided into vertical seat (P seat), square seat (F seat), diamond seat (FL seat), circular seat (C seat), convex circular seat (FC seat), convex square seat (FS seat), concealed hole seat (PA seat), and suspended seat (FA seat) according to the shape.
2、Integral (non separable) vertical bearing block assembly, split bearing block manufacturer with screw tight bearing housing cover. These vertical bearing block assemblies were originally developed as axle boxes for light rail trucks, but can also be used for traditional vertical bearing block assemblies. The non separable vertical bearing pedestal assembly has higher rigidity than the separable bearing pedestal, and some can withstand heavier loads. There are many outer ball surfaces of integral bearing blocks, but there are also integral sliding bearing blocks, such as HZ000 series and Q/ZB86. series.
1. When the bearing load is large and the rotational speed is low, the lubricating grease with small cone penetration should be selected, while the one with large cone penetration should be selected instead. High speed bearings use grease with a smaller cone penetration and good mechanical stability. Water cooled bearing manufacturers pay special attention to the lower viscosity of the base oil of the lubricating grease.
2. The drop point of the selected lubricating grease is generally 20-30 ℃ higher than the operating temperature. In the case of continuous operation at high temperatures, be careful not to exceed the allowable temperature range of the lubricating grease.
3. When sliding bearings work in water or humid environments, calcium based, aluminum based, or lithium based greases with good water resistance should be selected.
4. Choose a grease with good adhesion.
