Five installation precautions for bearings
1. Before assembling heavy bearing seats, ensure that the surface of the shaft sleeve and seat hole is free of foreign matters, and the surface of the seat hole should be as smooth as possible to avoid scratching during assembly.
2. During assembly, appropriate lubricating oil can be applied to the outer surface of the shaft sleeve to help make the installation of the shaft sleeve more convenient, but not too much to prevent the shaft sleeve from falling off during heavy loads or reciprocating movements.
3. During assembly, use a mandrel to slowly press in (it is recommended to use a hydraulic press). It is prohibited to directly tap the shaft sleeve to avoid deformation.
4. If it is necessary to use deformable materials such as aluminum alloy or thinner wall thickness of the seat hole during the design of the seat hole, attention should be paid to avoid causing deformation of the seat hole during press mounting.
5. In order to make assembly simpler and not damage the wear resistant layer, the end face of the shaft must have a smooth chamfer. The material of the shaft is recommended to be hardened HRC45 on the bearing steel surface, with a surface roughness of Rz2-3, and the surface can also be plated with hard chromium.
