The oil mist lubrication system provides fine oil particles suspended in low-speed, low-pressure air. Oil particles pass through nozzles and come into contact with high-speed running bearing components, causing the bearings to bend and soak in oil. The oil mist system can be used in bearings with higher performance because the heat generated by the bearing clamping sleeve equipment is relatively small.
Pressure oil delivery systems are more complex than oil mist lubrication systems. In a typical system, lubricating oil is pumped from the main oil tank to the bearing, injected from the small end of the bearing, and automatically removed using the operation of the bearing, slowly flowing out from the large end.
The damage condition of bearings, such as scratches on the collar edge of roller bearings, may be caused by insufficient lubricant, improper brand, defects in the oil supply and drainage structure, foreign matter intrusion, bearing installation error, or excessive shaft deflection, or may be caused by a combination of the above factors.
Therefore, it is difficult to know the cause of damage by only investigating bearing damage. However, based on a thorough understanding of the machine, operating conditions, and external structure of the bearing, a clear understanding of the conditions before and after the occurrence of the fault, combined with the analysis of the damage situation of the imported bearing and various related causes, can prevent the recurrence of similar faults.
Circulating lubricating oil improves continuous and fixed flow, thereby improving heat dissipation and self-cleaning capabilities, cleaning up contaminants and particles that can wear bearings. Installing a heat exchanger in the circulating system can reduce the oil temperature and increase the service time of the lubricating oil. Filtering devices can also be installed to remove particles that can cause bearing wear. The circulating lubricating oil system can also be applied to imported bearings with high performance, so in such cases, heat dissipation and long-term lubricating oil life are important.
